Terms & Conditions

Welcome to EkaRa. These terms govern your access to and use of EkaRa’s website, mobile services, and travel marketplace connecting travellers with verified tour operators across India.

Last updated: November 2026Applicable across India•All amounts in ₹ INR

Verified Operators

Every travel partner and agent is KYC-verified with registered commercial credentials before publishing packages.

Secure Payments

All transactions are encrypted and processed through RBI-authorized payment gateways with transparent GST billing.

Authoritative Bookings

Real-time seat holds and verified booking references prevent double-booking and secure your travel spots instantly.

Agreement to Terms & Platform Scope

By accessing, browsing, or using the EkaRa platform (website, mobile experiences, or associated APIs), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

EkaRa functions as a curated digital marketplace and discovery platform enabling travellers to browse, plan, and book tour packages, intercity road trips, multi-stop itineraries, and related travel services facilitated by licensed, third-party travel agencies, tour operators, and transport providers (“Travel Partners”).

User Accounts & Identity Verification

To reserve a tour or book transport, travellers may create an account or provide verified contact information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

In compliance with Indian safety and transport regulations, travellers must provide valid, government-issued photo identification (such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence) matching the passenger names provided during checkout. Travel Partners reserve the right to verify traveller IDs prior to departure or hotel check-in.

Bookings, Seat Allocation & Holds

When selecting specific seats on tour buses or transport coaches, EkaRa initiates a temporary inventory hold (typically 10 to 15 minutes) to enable payment completion without seat conflict. If payment is not verified within the hold window, the held seats are automatically released back to public availability.

A booking is deemed confirmed only after successful payment verification and issuance of an official EkaRa Booking Reference (e.g., EK-BK-XXXXX) and an itemized tax invoice.

Pricing, Advance Payments & Invoicing

All prices quoted on EkaRa are in Indian Rupees (₹ INR) and include applicable taxes (Goods and Services Tax — GST) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Itemized tax invoices with GSTIN compliance are automatically generated upon confirmed payment.

Eligible packages may support advance payment options (e.g., 25% or 50% advance deposit). When an advance payment is chosen:

  • Your seats and itinerary are reserved subject to the timely payment of the outstanding balance.
  • The remaining balance must be cleared through your traveller dashboard or the invoice payment link prior to the specified cutoff date before tour departure.
  • Failure to settle the remaining balance before the cutoff date may result in automated reservation cancellation subject to the tour’s cancellation policy.

Partner Obligations & Code of Conduct

All travel agencies, operators, and transport providers listed on EkaRa represent and warrant that:

  • They hold valid commercial operating permits, vehicle insurance, and licenses required by state and central tourism authorities.
  • They will execute itineraries as published, maintaining scheduled pickup/drop locations, meal arrangements, and room amenities.
  • They will strictly adhere to safety protocols, speed regulations, and ethical tourism practices.

Itinerary Modifications & Force Majeure

Travel routes across India (especially high-altitude sectors in Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, or monsoon-prone coastal highways) may occasionally be affected by unpredictable weather, landslides, roadblocks, national park closures, or governmental security directives.

In such events (“Force Majeure”), the Tour Operator reserves the right to modify routes, departure timings, or halts in the interest of traveller safety. While operators will make reasonable efforts to offer comparable alternatives, EkaRa and its partners are not liable for ancillary expenses (such as personal flight tickets or hotel stays booked outside the package) incurred as a consequence of force majeure delays.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation eligibility, refund timelines, and tier deductions are strictly governed by our dedicated Cancellation & Refund Policy and the individual package policy selected by the operator during listing. Please review the refund tier before completing checkout.

Governing Law & Dispute Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any legal dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to your use of EkaRa, the competent courts at Vadodara, Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
